VitalCore Terms of Use

Professional use only. VitalCore is educational clinical reference software for trained healthcare professionals. It is not a medical device, is not SFDA-registered or FDA-cleared, and is not for diagnosis, treatment, prescribing, or emergency care.

1. Acceptance

By using VitalCore you confirm you are a trained healthcare professional (or student under qualified supervision) and agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy.

2. No medical advice

All calculators, experimental camera/OCR outputs, rhythm estimates, protocols, simulations, and reference checklists are for education and professional reference only. They do not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or prescribing. You must independently verify all outputs against primary sources, laboratory reports, manufacturer IFUs, and institutional policies.

2a. Experimental camera & OCR tools

Camera, photo import, and OCR features are experimental. They may misread text, units, or values and must never replace the authorized laboratory report, device display, or licensed interpretation. You are solely responsible for PHI, photography policies, and de-identification.

2b. Subscriptions & software sales

Paid access (if offered) is a license to educational software and reference content only. It does not include clinical services, telemedicine, medical device clearance, or guaranteed accuracy. No patient–provider relationship is created.

3. Your responsibility

Clinical judgment and licensed orders always take precedence.
You are responsible for PHI handling, device security, and compliance with applicable law (including HIPAA where you are a covered entity or business associate).
Simulators and training modules must not replace emergency protocols or direct patient assessment.

4. No warranty

VitalCore is provided “as is” without warranties of accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular clinical purpose. Use at your own professional discretion.

5. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any clinical decisions, patient outcomes, or damages arising from use or misuse of the application.

6. Intellectual property & trademarks

VitalCore content, design, and software are owned by Abdulrazaq Alonazi unless otherwise noted. Product names, logos, and device images (e.g., Impella, Edwards, Abbott, Medtronic, TransMedics) are trademarks of their respective owners. VitalCore is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any manufacturer. IFU excerpts and specifications are for education only.

7. Changes

These terms may be updated. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
